Description
This is a scene from the fairy tale about the swan princes....it's an Anderson's fairy tale, I think, called 'The Wild Swans.' Seven brothers, one sister, all children of a king....evil stepmother turns boys into swans, girl has to save them through a horrible torturous ordeal....and one doesn't fully transform back. I loved the image of the youngest, gentlest prince with a swan wing for an arm... So here he is. Enjoy. I love fairy tales.

The one-winged brother is a character I've been studying for some time. Sadly, he's not a much explored subject, though you would think that he'd have a fascinating perspective on life.
There are a couple books out there that retell/ continue Wild Swans if you're interested.
